Context
Climate change is increasing the risk of hot, dry weather which fuels wildfires. If we lose the forests, we ultimately lose the fight against climate change. Forests are becoming drier for longer periods and with temperatures rising, more moisture is being evaporated from the ground. It is essential that we embrace the solutions available to address climate change and protect our forests.
