Ocean Ghost 4

Context
Dead zones are being created in our oceans at a rate faster than they can recover. These are areas where the oxygen levels become insufficient to sustain marine life. A major human cause of ocean dead zones is our agricultural practices that currently allow chemicals and livestock waste to flow into our waters, to effectively suffocate sea life to death. The effects are not irreversible but major change is needed now.

Materials used
This image is created using non-recyclable plastic netting collected from vegetable packaging.

Hahnemühle Agave 290gsm. 70% of this unique, eco-friendly paper is made from resource saving agave sisal fibres, cotton makes up the remaining 30%.
